MUSIC UNITES US ALL

Music is the common language of all peoples. While it might be difficult for immigrants and refugees to share their heartfelt stories with words, through music we can learn about their most genuine feelings and emotions.

A single voice might feel alone, but in harmony we are strong. In collaboration with feltNYC, The HeartFelt Voices project brings immigrants and refugees together through musical events to share with each other our lives through songs. We believe that together we can cut through the noise of the world and make our voices heard.

Our HeartFelt Voices project brings together immigrant and refugee voices with our Music Director, Dr. Wee Kiat Chia, a world class singer, vocal instructor and fellow immigrant.
